Blog Post #2
You can learn anything are powerful words for anyone to hear. Sometimes we get so frustrated that we want to quit ,but if we hang in there we will one day succeed. For instance, the video showed many people failing at different task, but one day they got to there goal of whatever it may be. Sometimes we fall and fail in life, but if we get up and stand strong we will reach that goal we want. I think I will definitely implement this concept in my future classroom. Like the video said anyone can understand and I think as a future special education teacher that that is something I need remember as well as my students. Also, if I keep that in my mind I know I will be a better teacher because I want give up on myself or my students.

I completely agree with everything that you said! There are tasks in life that are extremely difficult, and sometimes we fail, but that is no excuse to give up completely! Goals are meant to be fought for. I think every teacher should implement this concept into their classroom! :)
ReplyDeleteI like the phrase you started your blog off with. The words "You can learn anything" is a great phrase to remember when we become teachers. I agree with you when you stated that sometime we may fail but it is important to get right back up and reach our goals. Students are going to fail at different tasks in our classroom, but that is okay because the great thing is they can try again until they succeed. As teachers, we should want to challenge our students where they can grow in their learning.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you Heather. I liked the line you wrote that said "Sometimes we fall and fail in life, but if we get up and stand strong we will reach that goal we want." I really think this is great to live your live by. Some kids strive for excellence but have a very difficult time with failure.
